PHOTOGRAPHY CALLING
Installed in the entire upper floor of the Sprengel Museum Hannover, the exhibition PHOTOGRAPHY CALLING! comprises the photographic works of approximately 50 artists from five decades. It is not only the second significant collaboration between the Lower Saxony Savings Bank Foundation and the Sprengel Museum Hannover – the first one being HOW YOU LOOK AT IT – but also a project that follows on from the exhibition in 2000 and invites visitors to enter a comparably exemplary confrontation with the medium of photography.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
The 7th FESTIVAL OF LIGHTSâ„¢ is taking place from 12 to 23 October 2010 and kicks off with a spectacular opening ceremony. Until 23 October, Berlin will sparkle as a range of illuminations and projections light up more than 50 famous landmarks and spaces, including Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Cathedral and the radio tower. For the first time, the landmark Europa-Center, as well as Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in the west of the city will be illuminated.
Special “lightseeing†tours on the Light-Liner bus, by boat on the Light-Ship, on foot with the Light-Cruso or by rickshaw with the Light-Velo will give locals and visitors alike the chance to experience the creative compositions up close.

EXPO LINO
June 14th – Do an editorial illustration has to be studied like an art work? And a publicity poster? Order and integrity: can they work together? Can we do a non-conventional graphic work that is still accessible to a large public? And earn enough money to live from artistic work? Expo LINO is answering those questions through an exceptionally talented graphist’s12 years of creation. The exhibition, curated by Marc. H. Choko, titular professor at the Design School of UQAM, will be presented at the Design Center of UQAM, from August 31th to October 30th.
